SMS Homecoming

Shelby got all dressed up for the SM South Homecoming Dance and looked absolutely beautiful! Tim helped her pick out her dress and she is wearing a necklace I brought back from Bangkok. She decided she got her ability to accessorize from her Aunt Martha!

SMS Homecoming Game

SMS finally had a home game and we got to see the Rompin Stompin Raider Band in action (and the football team actually won one so it was a bonus night). Shelby worked very hard getting all the pit instruments on the field and played great!


It definitely was a proud mom taking pictures! Brenton came home to see his sister in her first half-time performance as well.

Brenton's First College Game

We just returned from watching the Ottawa Braves and our own Brenton Byrnes play the Baker Wildcats. Unfortunately, the Braves were defeated; however, the defense scored all of Ottawa's points and Brenton had an awesome leveling of Baker's quarterback - timed perfectly just as he threw the ball - right into the arms of one of Ottawa's corners. Of course, had I not been jumping up and down and screaming, I could have gotten a picture. Alas. Next time.
